This is a popular Gujarati dish. You can call it an Indian version of the famous corn chowder. This is incredibly easy to make and gets ready in no time - plus it is so yummy I promise that you'll be licking your spoon clean.
Ingredients:
2 cups ........ sweet corn kernels (frozen or fresh)
½ tsp ......... cooking oil
½ tsp ......... mustard seeds
½ tsp ......... asafortida
1 tsp ......... ginger garlic paste
1 cup ......... milk
½ tsp ......... chili flakes
salt to taste
Method:
Add a little lemon juice if you want sweet and sour tast.
You can add more milk and have it as a thick soup if you prefer.

Method:
- If you are using frozen corn, thaw it first. Put the corn kernels in a grinder and grind them to form a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and asafoetida. When the seeds crackle, add the ginger garlic paste and ground corn kernels, salt and mix well.
- Now add the milk slowly while constantly stirring the mix.
- Cover the lid and cook it till its nice and soft.
- Garnish with chili flakes.
