Palak Tomato Soup


Ingredients:
1 bunch of palak (spinach)
3 medium sized tomatoes
1/2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp garlic paste
salt to taste
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp butter ( optional)
1 tsp corn flour

Method:
  • Blanch the palak
  • Boil the tomatoes
  • Blend it together,after blending do not take the pulp out of the soup
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add garlic paste and add the mixture of tomatoes and palak
  • Add water if required.
  • Mix the corn flour in lukewarm water add it to the soup. boil the soup till it thickens.
  • Add pepper powder , lemon juice and salt to taste
  • Garnish with butter and serve

Serving Suggestions:
Serve with bread
